Sculpture Nahalaennia Devossi scale model
This Nahalaennia Devossi scale model is approximately 50 centimeters long.
Reconstructed for the digital rendering at the Historyland museum. The sculpture is used for an animation about prehistoric marine life This relatively ‘’small’’ extinct Baleanoptera species was related to the extent humpback whales but less than half their length at 7 meters. They would be a prey species for the giant Livyatan whales and Megalodon sharks. They were filter feeders as their extant larger relatives feeding on krill and other plankton.
